Posting of Sample Ballots

The answer in regards to the ballots being posted on our website, at the Town Hall, and Elizabeth Washebek Memorial building. The state statute does not require the clerks to post that notice until the Monday before the election, which in this case was April 1st. I posted at all 3 places on March 27, 2024. If you would like to see your ballot earlier that what I post you can visit www.myvote.wi.gov to find out what will be on your ballot. Weight Limits

UPDATE: The Town of Brazeau has lifted all weight restrictions on their town roads!

Oconto County will lift all weight restrictions on the county roads on Wednesday, March 13th at noon.

The Town of Brazeau will lift weight restrictions on the town roads south of State Hwy 64 on Wednesday, March 13th at noon, the weight limits on the town roads north of State Highway 64 will remain in effect until further notice.

NOTICE OF ADOPTED ORDINANCES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a regular board meeting at the Brazeau Town Hall at 6:30 p.m. on January 30, 2024, the Town of Brazeau Board adopted the following ordinances:

3.0900 Short-Term Rental Ordinance

The purpose of this ordinance is to ensure that the quality and nature of short-term rentals operating within the Town of Brazeau are adequate for protecting health, safety, and general welfare, and to protect the character and stability of neighborhoods within the town.

3.1000 Room Tax Ordinance

A tax is imposed on the privilege and service of furnishing, a retail, rooms, or lodging to transients, by hotel keeper’s motel operators, and other persons furnishing accommodations that are available to the public, such tax shall be at the rate of eight percent.
